Our featured knit pattern for 2023 is Bevel Mitts, designed for us by Emily Green and Imperial Yarn's McKenzie.
These modern hand warmers feature a graphic pattern of cables that appear to 'grow' out of the twisted rib cuff. The pattern includes three style options - fingerless mitts, fingerless gloves, and full gloves - and is written in a range of four sizes, with easy-to-adjust lengths to ensure a perfect fit.
The only yarn we could think of using for an Emily Green design was McKenzie by Imperial Yarn. It's a beautifully round, soft and squishy yarn with a high twist, that makes the cables and textured stitches that are her signature, really sing.
Plus, all Imperial yarn is proudly Climate Beneficial, meaning it's responsibly grown and ethically harvested in the US by ranches using mindful carbon-farm planning. The goal is build healthy soil, restore eco-systems, enhance the drawdown of carbon from the atmosphere, and become net-negative in their greenhouse gas emissions, all through landscape level stewardship.
You can read more about the Climate Beneficial yarn program here.
Kit includes 1 skein of yarn and code to download the pattern from Ravelry.
NOTE: If you plan on making the full gloves or the largest size in any other style, please purchase two kits.
